If you’re like me you spent all year watching what you eat only to fall off the wagon at holiday time.

If you’re like me you spent all year watching what you eat only to fall off the wagon at holiday time. Then there is the yearly resolution to do better the next year and lose all the weight you gained, but until then here are a few tips on camouflaging those unwanted pounds.
First of all I can’t stress the importance of proper fitting undergarments. The right underwear is the foundation of any stylish outfit. If you’re lumpy underneath then it does not matter what you wear on top. You’re always going to look lumpy.
If your trying to camouflage weight gain the answer is not to wear lose fitting, tent like clothing, but instead wear clothing that emphasizes your best assist. For example If you are suffering form belly weight gain you should look for “baseball” style thee quarter length sleeve shirts this will draw attention up to your shoulders and chest.
An easy way to hide belly fat, buy a structured blazer, the strong lines with draw attention up and away. The great thing about a blazer, you can wear them any were, day, night, dressy or casual. Personally I like a light weight blazer with side vents and a peaked lapel.
Black! The only thing I can say about black clothing, don’t make it your every day ensemble. Anytime someone gains weight the first thing they do is buy black! Black paints, black shirts, black ties, black socks and black shoes. The thing with black, after a while it stops working and your just that heavy guy who always wears black. Then you’re just big and boring.
I hear people say all the time, they refuse to buy new cloths until the lose weight. The problem with this statement is that until they lose the weight they look like they are wearing someone else’s clothing and most of the time there is pained look on their faces. The bottom line, if you look pained to be in your own clothing then you don’t look approachable.
